The BX (Re) Birth Collective, a local Bronx organization, focuses on improving minority maternal health outcomes by helping moms through trauma and putting client needs first.  
The collective consists of doulas and midwives who provide services throughout the entire city, with a true focus on the Bronx.  
The collective fights against the tragic statistics of Black and brown women dying during childbirth, with the Bronx seeing the worst numbers.  
The collective has a new partnership with Lincoln Hospital, having doulas present weekly to assist and support mothers and their babies.  
Their focus being to bring down stress and increase best outcomes.  
The collective tells News 12 that they will continue to forge relationships with other community organizations and hospitals to ensure that mothers-to-be have what they need to thrive during tough times.
