Long Island records COVID-19 positivity rate of 13%; highest in NY state
Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office reported that Long Island has a COVID-19 positivity rate of 13.05%.

This is the highest rate in New York.
On Thursday, more than 8,200
new infections were reported across the Island.
There were also 11 COVID-19-related
deaths.
