Macy's is celebrating the season of spring by kicking off its 48th annual Flower Show in Herald Square.
The main floor of the flagship store was transformed into a floral escape that will be blooming for the next two weeks.
New Yorkers and tourists are invited to explore the thousands of plants, flowers and trees that have taken root in the store.
Attendees told News 12 that the flower arrangements are a beautiful sight after a long winter spent indoors.
"It is a tradition that every New Yorker should just come and see. If you're a tourist, you'll just love the colors and go shopping while you're at it,” said one city resident.
The show is free to the public starting today to April 10.
