The Madison Square Boys & Girls Club in Crotona Park will see its final summer this year.

Residents say they are concerned about what the future of the property will look like.

Jeremy Ramirez is one of many Bronx residents who has benefitted from Madison Square Boys & Girls Club.

"This helps students become more happy, more successful and more intelligent," he says. "I've been in this community for years and I see the positive impacts it can have on our youth."

After over 65 years in Crotona Park, the clubhouse known for helping with after school care, guidance, and resources will close and the building will be up for sale.

Mel Corbett, another alumni of the club, says it's a, "tremendous blow to the community."

Members from the club's alumni association say their goal is to find a buyer for the building that will keep the club alive.

The clubhouse will officially close its doors this August.
