Celebrating the Day of the Dead, also known as El Dia De Los Muertos in Spanish, is an important tradition and celebration in Mexico and throughout many countries in South America.
Tulcingo Restaurant and Bakery in Queens has been making Day of the Dead bread for over 18 years.
People who celebrate the tradition believe their loved ones come to visit them and eat the bread on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2.
News 12 reporter Joanna Hernandez visited the bakery shop to learn more about the symbolism behind the bread.
