7h agoThe first ever Making Strides Survivor Fashion Show was held on Saturday at the Bay Plaza Mall.
It raised awareness about breast cancer, which is the most common cancer for women in America. Thirty-six survivors walked in the show and celebrated their life and resilience.
The fashion show was presented by Montefiore Einstein Cancer Comprehensive Center and was a joint effort with Bronx Fashion Week.
News 12’s Cecilia Hua spoke to models as they prepared to take the runway.
