Man stabbed in torso in Fordham Hill

Cory Martin, the man accused of chopping up Brandy Odom in 2018 who Martin allegedly pimped, appeared in court on Tuesday.

According to legal documents, he and a woman living with him named Adele Anderson are accused of taking out two fraudulent life insurance policies in Odom’s name in 2017.

Odom’s body was found in dismembered in Canarsie Park in April of 2018.

Prosecution and defense laid out the upcoming roadmap to the trial, including details on witnesses and evidence.

The prosecution revealed that Anderson, who was charged in connection to this incident in 2020, took a plea deal in 2021 and will be testifying against Martin in future court appearances.
