Man accused of driving son to carry out fatal shooting, sources say

A man is accused of driving his son to carry out a fatal shooting, sources say.

Court documents reveal that 64-year-old Norman Moore is accused of driving 24-year-old Devonte Moore to carry out the fatal shooting of Fareed Adeyi.

Sources tell News 12 that Norman Moore is the father of Devonte Moore.

Police say 26-year-old Adeyi, was shot multiple times in the chest in front of a laundromat at 3254 White Plains Road just before 6:45 p.m. on Oct 7. He was later pronounced dead at NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi.

The criminal complaint states Norman Moore is charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. Prosecutors say Devonte Moore is in the hospital and has not yet faced a judge.

Norman Moore is expected back in court on Nov. 18.
