Police arrested and charged a man in connection to a June 17 shooting that killed Victor Bautista.

Pedro Cruz, from Mott Haven, was charged with murder, manslaughter and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

The 27-year-old was arrested Wednesday morning within the confines of the 40th Precinct.

Investigators believe Cruz fired a shot that killed Bautista, a father of two, along Trinity Avenue near East 149th Street.

Surveillance video shows Bautisa in conversation with another person on the sidewalk, when the man believed to be Cruz approaches and stands behind him. The two are seen engaging in conversation before the victim throws a punch. The man believed to be Cruz and the victim run along opposite sides of the street, when police say Cruz fired multiple shots.

The victim's family members previously told News 12 that Cruz was known to terrorize the neighborhood and say he had previously assaulted another person.
