A 29-year-old man was critically wounded during a shooting in Hunts Point on Sunday evening, according to police.

It happened just before 8 p.m. near 1275 Lafayette Ave.

Citizen app footage shows the paramedics and officers placing the victim in the back of an ambulance, while performing CPR.

According to investigators, the man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

The NYPD says EMS rushed the 29-year-old to Lincoln Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition as of 9 p.m. Sunday.

Information about what led up to the shooting and who may have pulled the trigger was not immediately available.
