A man was fatally shot overnight near Davidson Avenue.

Police responded to a call about a shooting around 1800 Davidson Ave. just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say when they arrived at the scene they found a 36-year-old man shot in the head and torso.

He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.

Police are searching for the suspect.
