At around 8:15 a.m. a 911 call alerted police of a shooting near East 176th Street and Anthony Avenue. The victim has not been identified.
The shooter, described only as unidentified, reportedly fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The man was pronounced dead at SBH Health System.
