Police sources say a person of interest is in custody after a man was stabbed to death at the NYCHA Edenwald Houses.
Officers discovered a 35-year-old man with stab wounds throughout his body around 4 a.m. Wednesday at 1138 East 229th St.
Police have identified the man as Miguel Batiz, who lived at the Edenwald Houses. EMS pronounced Batiz dead on scene, according to the NYPD.
The medical examiner will determine his official cause of death.
