Police are asking for help in finding the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run in Unionport.
Officials say an unidentified vehicle struck the victim on White Plains Road Saturday around 5:30 p.m. and then took off.
Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward and help them find the car and driver who hit the pedestrian, who was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition.
News 12 is told his condition has improved.
Police on Sunday were seen driving through the neighborhood, checking for businesses that may have surveillance cameras that can help in the investigation.
