A man was punched in the face and then robbed of his cellphone in Bedford Park.
Police say that the incident happened on Saturday, Aug. 9, when the 68-year-old victim was approached by the robber near Briggs Avenue and East Mosholu Parkway South. The robber took the man’s cellphone before punching him in the face.
EMS took the victim to the hospital due to pain and swelling from the assault.
