A man is wanted for robbing a Livery Cab driver at knifepoint, according to police.
Police say it happened on Nov. 13 when the 70-year-old livery driver, Yanuario Paz, picked up a man along Fulton Street in the Claremont section of the Bronx around 10:30 p.m.
The driver says he was making a stop on East 137th Street and Saint Ann's Avenue when the suspect pulled out a knife and placed it against the driver's neck. The man then demanded money from the driver.
"When we got to 137th Street he placed the knife right here and demanded to give him money. He opened the glove compartment and took $90," says Paz.
Paz says after he took the $90, the suspect fled.
"I ran about half a block after him. He ran past the police. I don't know how they didn't see him," says Paz.
Police are offering a $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
