Man set on fire after argument with another man in Melrose, NYPD says

The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital in critical condition.

A man was set on fire after an argument with another man Thursday night in Melrose, police say.
Police say a 39-year-old man got into an argument with a 45-year-old man at around 11 p.m. on East 159th Street and Van Cortlandt Avenue. News 12 learned that the argument quickly turned violent when he threw rubbing alcohol on the victim and lit him on fire, causing burns to his face and head.
The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital in critical condition.
Police say two other men were injured while trying to help the victim.
