A man was fatally shot outside a park in Soundview Monday, police say.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. near Lafayette and Boynton avenues.
Police from the 43rd Precinct say the man was found with a gunshot wound to his face.
The 53-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
