Police say a man was shot in the right leg in Morris Heights.

Officers were called to the scene at 1975 Grand Ave. just before 5:30 p.m Wednesday.

EMS took the 27-year-old man to St. Barnabas Hospital where he is expected to recover, according to the NYPD.

Police are looking for a man wearing a blue sweatshirt and a black hat, jacket, pants and sneakers.
