Teens robbed at knifepoint in Sunset Park

Police say a 23-year-old man was slashed in the face aboard a northbound 2 train in Wakefield Thursday.

Officers responded to the Nereid Avenue station near White Plains Road just before 6:30 p.m.

EMS took the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he is expected to recover, according to authorities.

Police sources say they are searching for two men responsible for the attack.
