A man was struck and killed by a private sanitation truck near Atlantic and Flatbush avenues Friday, according to police and the FDNY.
Police say the incident happened around 3:33 p.m.
The victim is a 62-year-old man, according to police. Police say the driver is a 37-year-old man.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene, according to police.
The FDNY says the man, unidentified at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
