Man wanted for firing shots inside East 170th Street subway station

Police released photos of the man they say is responsible for firing shots inside the East 170th Street subway station Monday.

It happened on the southbound "B/D" platform just after 7 p.m., according to the NYPD.

The shooter ran from the scene, traveling northbound on Grand Concourse. He was last seen wearing all black.

Police say a shell casing was recovered. No one was hurt.

The NYPD asks anyone with information to call its Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
