yesterdayPolice have released surveillance video of an assault in the 174th Street subway station that happened on Dec. 1.
According to officers, a man went up to a 58-year-old woman, made an anti-Chinese statement then slapped her in the face before running off.
The woman refused medical attention but is expected to be OK.
Another assault was reported in the Bronx. Police say a man was fatally stabbed around 12:45 a.m. Monday just inside the 2 train station.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the attack.
