The man who attacked NYPD officers during a George Floyd protest in Brooklyn has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Dzenan Camovic, 22, pleaded guilty today to several count of aggravated assault on a police officer among other charges for the June 2020 attack. Officials say Camovic stabbed one officer in the neck, robbed the officer of his firearm and discharged the weapon at other officers.
He now waits to be sentenced on a state level.
