The Manhattan College men?s basketball team dribbled their way to a preseason victory Wednesday led by their new head coach.With the season opener days away, the Jaspers brought their ?A? game to Wednesday?s preseason contest against New York Institute of Technology. The team executed new strategies in the win set forth by coach Barry Rohrssen. Last season?s lead scorer, Arturo Dubois, came out big with 14 points and seven rebounds. The Jaspers led 28-25 at the half. Devon Austin sealed the deal with 18 points, leading Manhattan to a 62-58 win over NYIT.Rohrssen is confident in his team going into their season opener at home Saturday against New Jersey Institute of Technology. Rohrssen is the 22nd head coach in Manhattan College history.
