The Manhattan men?s soccer team kicked off the season against Quinnipiac in what it hoped would be the beginning of a winning season.
The Bobcats scored the first point of the game, but Manhattan goalie John Ciano racked up six saves in the match. Dan Shemanski built on Ciano?s work, putting away a goal.Manhattan won its first game of the year 2-1. Second-year Head Coach Michael Swanwick was pleased with the win after the Jaspers? disappointing last season. Manhattan only won one game in 2005.
