With the general election two weeks away, a debate on Wednesday took center stage, as all three candidates made their final appeals to voters, including students at Manhattan University.
The watch party was held by student-run club Jaspers Vote. Group members say they want to encourage any kind of civic engagement in the minds of young voters like themselves.
"An election like this affects people's lives and the world around them. It is very important to get people involved and people voting in like intentionally with information," said one student.
