In honor of Veterans Day, many restaurants and retailers are offering deals and discounts to those who served in the military.

IHOP is offering a free pancake combo meal. At Starbucks, active military members and veterans can get a free coffee. At Dunkin', a free donut is up for grabs, and Krispy Kreme is offering coffee and a donut at no charge.

Applebee's and Chili's are serving free entrees to those who dine-in, and Buffalo Wild Wings is handing out a free order of wings.

Many retail stores are also offering discounts. At Target, Lowe's and Home Depot, it's a 10% discount. It's 20% off for in-store purchases at Walgreens, and 30% off at Kohl's. Be sure to have your military ID to claim the deals and discounts.

National Parks will also waive entrance fees for everyone at its sites. The two parks closest to New York City are FDR's estate and the Vanderbilt Mansion, both of which are near Poughkeepsie
