Mary-Lyn Buckley joined the News 12 team in December 2019, after covering New Jersey for nearly two years as a morning reporter at Fios 1 News. She also worked as a freelance "junior reporter" at WTXF Fox 29 and made live appearances on "Good Day Philadelphia" during her senior year of college.  

Mary-Lyn grew up in Staten Island and graduated magna cum laude from Rider University in 2018. During her undergraduate years, Mary-Lyn studied abroad in Germany, Italy, and Ireland. She also interned at WABC-TV in the consumer "7 On Your Side" unit and in the newsroom at WNYW Fox 5.
