Massive mural pays homage to rap pioneers at Sedgwick Avenue ‘birthplace of hip-hop’

The mural is meant to be a reminder of what makes the Bronx so special.

A 102-foot-long mural that pays tribute to hip-hop’s pioneers was unveiled at 15-20 Sedgwick Ave. – widely known as the birthplace of the genre.
The mural was made by graffiti artist Desire Nobility One.
