Mayor Eric Adams revealed an ambitious plan for a universal after-school programming that will open opportunities for children and families in New York City.
The “After School for All” program would allow more students across the five boroughs to participate in after school programs. The new $331 million commitment will improve current programs as well as add 20,000 new seats over the next three school years.
The announcement is part of Mayor Adams’ “Budget Week” where the administration unveils signature investments to make New York City safer and more affordable for families.
