Mayor Eric Adams announced the inaugural National Urban Rat Summit will take place in New York City this September.

The summit will bring together a wide range of experts to share best practices on rodent mitigation and advance the science of urban rat management. It will be held Sept. 18 and 19.

People from across the country will attend, including municipal experts and the nation's best rat researchers.

Adams has made tackling the rat problem one of his administrations biggest crusades.
