331ds agoMayor Bill de Blasio visited the Clason Point Library in Soundview Tuesday, which is the new testing site for COVID-19 rapid tests.
This rapid testing site comes in a neighborhood that was one of the hardest hit by the coronavirus in the city.
De Blasio hopes the new site will help continue to keep cases down.
De Blasio walked inside businesses along Westchester Avenue telling employees about the new testing site nearby. He encouraged them to get tested and gave ways to stay safe while working.
You do not need an insurance card or ID to get tested and will not be asked about your immigration status. The test is free.
