The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to $306 million.

The last time someone hit the jackpot was for the May 14 drawing. The $143 million ticket was sold in Ohio.

This Tuesday's prize will be the largest since a $521 million ticket was sold in New Jersey in March.

The lump-sum payment for the prize would come to about $185 million. The next drawing is at 11 p.m. Tuesday.
