An overnight shooting in Melrose left one man dead and a suspect on the run.
The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday at the corner of East 157th Street and Melrose Avenue, police say, where responding officers found 38-year-old Ryehine Cintron shot in the torso.
He was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Lincoln where he was later pronounced dead.
There are currently no arrests in this incident, and police say the investigation is ongoing.
