Melrose street co-named in honor community advocate Joanne Webb-Dixon

Elected officials and residents gathered in Melrose as Trinity Avenue, between East 163rd and East 164th streets, was co-named Joanne Webb-Dixon Way.

A street in the Bronx was co-named in honor of a beloved community advocate on Saturday.
Elected officials and residents gathered in Melrose as Trinity Avenue, between East 163rd and East 164th streets, was co-named Joanne Webb-Dixon Way.
Bronx Borough President-Elect Vanessa Gibson praised the accomplishments of Webb-Dixon.
The street co-named in her honor was where she once lived before she died in 2017.
