Tenants of a Melrose building say they have been dealing with leaky pipes for two years without repair.
Elizabeth Vivola says one leak, coming from her ceiling, is among several issues at 225 E. 149th St. Recently, she says, a water leak led to electrical sparks in her bathroom.
Tenants say they believe all of the building's pipes need replacement. Diana Villegas, who lives above Vivola, says she has a leak too.
News 12 reached out to UA Management, the company that oversees the building, and is waiting for a response.
