A member of the famous rap group Run DMC visited a Valley Stream school Thursday.
Darryl McDaniels, known as the D of the legendary group, was at Alden Terrace School to read his book "Darryl's Dream."
McDaniels also left students with an important message.
"There's no such thing as a generation gap, it's an information gap," says McDaniels. "The OGs need to communicate with the young Gs. And then we can solve all of the world problems."
The principal of Alden Terrace co-authored the book with McDaniels.
