The New York Mets will be paying tribute to late pitcher Tom Seaver this season.
The team will wear a patch with the No. 41 on the right sleeve of their uniforms this season.
Seaver, who spent 12 years with the Mets, is the team's all-time leader in wins, shutouts and strikeouts, among other records. He was also inducted into the Hall of Fame and had his number retired in 1988.
Seaver passed away last August at the age of 75.
