One of Brooklyn's most popular pizzas can now be found in the frozen aisles of some of your local grocery stores, like ShopRite.
Di Fara Pizza is also planning to expand to national grocery chains, like LIDL and Krogers soon.
Family members of the late owner, Domenico “Dom” DeMarco, said it’s a way for those who never met the Brooklyn icon before his passing, to get to know his story.
DeMarco opened the Midwood Di Fara Pizza location in 1965, poring his passion and time into every pie he made.
The frozen classic and pepperoni pizza will sell for just under $10.
Through a partnership with BossBites, it is still made with the finest ingredients and recipes - blending locally sourced produce with a mix of mozzarella and parmesan cheeses imported from Italy.
Each pizza is made with the family’s 60-year-old secret Sunday sauce recipe.
