Two Bronx businesses were shut down in the matter of a week after the NYC Sheriff's Office discovered millions of dollars worth of illegal drugs.
Authorities found over 170 pounds and $1 million in cannabis products and other drugs such as mushroom products at the Family Deli located at 4011 East Tremont Ave.
Just this past weekend, over 1,700 pounds and $10 million of similar products were seized at a business located on Timpson Avenue in Mott Haven. A mother and local resident who did not want to appear on camera says the shop didn't allow her to feel safe in her own neighborhood.
