The family of a 43-year-old missing New York Army National Guard sergeant is speaking to News 12 about the case after state police say his car was found Sunday in the City of Poughkeepsie.

Nicolas Faust’s Nissan Rogue was found outside of a house on Mill Street, according to his relatives who say he was last seen there at a party on the night of March 23.

His family says Faust lived in his car and that his belongings were found inside. They say he was seen on surveillance video walking down the block after the party and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

“Sometimes things happen and people are afraid to speak out. Somebody knows something. He did not just disappear into the night,” says Faust’s cousin Cheryl Andrew.

State police say Faust was last seen wearing scrubs or cargo-type pants.

Faust's family say he worked as a certified nursing assistant at a nursing home in Peekskill and is an identical twin.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 845-677-7300.
