Mayor Eric Adams was at Yankee Stadium Tuesday to highlight the economic impact of this week's MLB playoff series between the Yankees and the Cleveland Guardians and the Mets/Padres Wild-Card Series.
Adams said the postseason games are expected to generate a total of $93 million in economic activity for the city.
The mayor said that hotels in particular are seeing about a 91% recovery rate.
Adams said every dollar spent "plays a vital role in how we're going to recover across the city."
