Morgan's Brooklyn Barbecue reopened its doors Wednesday after it was destroyed by a three-alarm fire over a year ago.
It took crews 18 months to repair the restaurant in Prospect Heights and for staff to get back in the kitchen to cook up their famous recipes.
Morgan's signature items were being sold at the owner's other restaurant Tiny’s Cantina while renovations were underway.
The original location held a grand reopening on Wednesday and staff welcomed back their loyal customers for dinner.
“We had a tremendous group of regular customers. Being at work was like being with family. We are really excited to see some of the same people here and seeing them sit our new barstools, enjoying the food as good as it's always been,” says owner Matthew Glazier.
