A group of tow truck drivers in Morris Park are starting their trek to flooded areas of Texas Thursday night in an effort to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
The 1,700-mile trip will take approximately 27 hours to make. Those in the caravan will be taking donated water, cereal, water, toys and other supplies to Harvey victims.
Organizers called the mission to help others a "no-brainer."
"After we dealt with Sandy…we saw the destruction that these weather events leave behind," says Alexis Santana.
