A tragic motorcycle crash in the Bronx has left one man dead, while a woman and a 3-year-old girl are fighting for their lives. The crash occurred on Pelham Parkway around 3 p.m. Sunday, involving a motorcycle and a Lexus car.
News 12 crews captured video of the scene, which shows the impact of the collision was severe. The Lexus car was completely crushed, and motorcycle parts were seen scattered across the scene.
The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female passenger of the motorcycle remains in critical condition. The driver of the Lexus, a 40-year-old man, and a 39-year-old female passenger are expected to recover. However, a 3-year-old girl who was in the car is currently in critical condition.
The Bronx has seen a rise in motorcycle-related accidents, with record levels of motorcycle deaths reported in 2023. Authorities are still investigating the cause of this latest incident.
