Bronx residents will receive a 100% instant rebate on the Henry Hudson Bridge toll when using the E-ZPass New York tag.
“Henry Hudson Bridge is one of the shortest bridges there is in the entire city, and it seemed absurd that people had to pay a toll for it,” said Assembly Member Jeffrey Dinowitz who advocated to get funding for the program.
Bronx residents told News 12 that the program was beneficial to their commute.
“I'm just one exit away from that toll, and I always feel bad paying,” said Ewnetu Adamssu.
The program also includes residents who live in Bronx zip codes 10466, 10470, 10471 and the MTA says eligible residents have been notified by mail if they qualify for the program.
