The MTA held a board meeting on Wednesday where it voted to approve the next phase of its E-Hail Pilot Program.
E-Hail is an on-demand service that offers participating Access-A-Ride customers the opportunity to book trips in real-time through taxi or vehicle services.
The program will enter its third phase and is scheduled to begin on July 1.
Access-A-Ride will continue to provide service with no monthly limits or per trip costs beyond $2.90 fare.
