MTA employees have a new way to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Vaccinations will now take place at the MTA’s Brooklyn headquarters in Downtown Brooklyn.
The initiative is part of a partnership with Mobile Health. MTA Chairman Pat Foye says they expect to administer around 200 doses of the vaccine a day.
MTA employees can also get vaccinated at the Javits Center in Manhattan.
The MTA headquarters site is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
Interim MTA President Sarah Feinberg says it is important to have the site open on weekends so employees can work it with their schedules.
