MTA Bus Company President Craig Cipriano provided an update to News 12
on preparations for today's snowstorm.
Cipriano said they are accustomed to moving buses around and
accommodating riders during storms during a busy season.
"Articulated buses we use primarily
in the Bronx and Manhattan do not fare as well in stormy conditions,” he said.
“What we like to do is use our 40-foot buses with chains – so we do have to
reduce...service.”
Cipriano says riders should expect “some
slight delays.”
